A Different Kind of Hooker

What do you do when insomnia holds you hostage?
Delve into the horrors of social media.

Heron
Life was great for Heron Treyton, and why wouldn’t it be? He came from a great family, his friends were solid, and when he wasn’t living his dream as a professional rugby player, he was a firefighter alongside his father. He was living a life that most men would envy, and he never lost sight of that. He even had a great relationship with his twin siblings that were eighteen years younger than he was.
Nevertheless, despite all his blessings, he has found himself in a constant battle with insomnia lately, and the insomnia was winning. Not wanting to fail a drug test or have his clarity questioned, the only thing that he hasn’t tried yet is sleeping drugs, something that he’s not a fan of anyway. So, with nothing else working for him, he decides that social media should be enough to bore him to sleep.

Eliza
Life was great for Eliza Dodger, generally speaking. Yeah, her job was kind of mundane and sucked on most days, but she came from a wonderful family, and her best friend always did her best to keep things from becoming boring. Plus, she had a roof over her head, food in her fridge, and all her utilities were paid on time. Really, she didn’t have a whole lot to complain about.
Nevertheless, despite all her blessings, she wanted more, and that was in the form of her own home. While living in an apartment wasn’t the worst thing in the world, she wanted the suburban dream, husband and/or kids optional. So, needing to make more money-without resorting to porn-she decides to start her own baking channel, and…well, it turns out to be a lot harder than she thought.
When you’re not the only crazy one awake after nine o’clock at night…
Up way past his bedtime, Heron Treyton finds himself pleasantly surprised when he comes across a baking social media channel that may or may not be a bit questionable. Nonetheless, there’s no denying that Eliza Dodger is gorgeous as all the sins put together, making him forget all about his insomnia.
Up way past her bedtime, Eliza Dodger understands that chasing your dream requires sacrifice, in this instance, that particular sacrifice being blissful sleep. It’s all good until Heron Treyton asks to be a guest on her baking channel, and since she has a working pair of eyes, she gladly takes him up on his offer.

As they start to get to know each other, she learns that only a crazy person would ever sign up to play rugby, and he learns that baking is a lot harder than it looks, though it could just be the baker in this case. Still, as sparks fly and friends begin to meddle, the only thing left to do is to have a bake-off.

NOTE: This book contains adult language, adult situations, explicit sexual encounters, the horrors of baking, the madness that is rugby, and meddling friends. If sensitive to any of the aforementioned issues, please do not read.
